NHS wonderwall

Our team of adults were delighted to receive the award for community project at the Westmorland General Hospital. This meant we could apply to local organisations for additional support.

Royal Horticultural Society Award (another one!)

A well-earned award from the RHS for our staff member Cath who worked so hard with a variety of sessions in the gardens at St Marks School. Cath worked well with the children on the schools allotment, in the fruit cage and the flower areas. The children said tasting the fruit juice from Elderberries and the Jam making was the best!

Outreach work

Our team of volunteers have been out in the community in Kendal supporting the new courtyard at Westmorland General now we have received our grant from Morrisons to support the work there this year. At Sandgate Primary school our volunteers have been working hard keeping the grass cut.

At Stramongate school we used our Bowser for community projects such as filling up the pond area that has been suffering in the heat and maintaining their vegetable gardens.
