The focus this year has been to encourage the hospital staff and volunteers to take responsibility for a raised bed. The successful take up was from the Eye clinic, Physio, and Estates department.
A regular visitor spending time with her father in a ward also grew some amazing strawberries that she shared with the other patients and staff.
Sandgate school grew a great crop of potatoes and Scott our gardener planted up his first raised bed as a show piece.
The eye clinic decided not only to grow some sugar snap peas but a flower bed with some scented sweat peas for colour.
